Controlled Air Incinerator

Verantis provides a full range of packaged, controlled air incineration system for processing all types of industrial, medical and clinical waste streams.

The controlled air system operates in a sub-stoichiometric mode in the primary chamber. The organic material are heated to a temperature of approximately 750º C and in the absence of enough oxygen for complete combustion, volatile gasses are generated for processing in the secondary chamber. The second stage of the process involves oxidizing the products of combustion generated in the primary chamber in an excess air environment in the secondary combustion chamber. These resultant gas stream is composed of primarily carbon dioxide and water vapor.

Our package design includes equipment that is capable of processing medical or clinical waste at feed capacities from 25 kg/hr up to 1,000 kg/hr on an intermittent or continuous basis. The systems are provided with multiple waste feed and ash removal configurations and fully integrated combustion systems.
